MBLAQ, (Korean: 엠블랙, an acronym for Music Boys Live in Absolute Quality) is a South Korean quintet boy band created by Korean pop R&B singer, producer and actor Rain under a branch of his label J.Tune Entertainment called J.Tune Camp. The group debuted on October 9, 2009 at Rain’s Legend of Rainism concert.

On October 14, 2009 the group released their debut single album, “Just BLAQ”, which topped various on-line and off-line music charts in South Korea. The group then released their second single album Y on May 19, 2010, and on January 10, 2011, MBLAQ released their first studio album, BLAQ Style.

KAT-TUN (カトゥーン, Katūn?) is a Japanese boy band formed by Johnny & Associates (Johnny’s) in 2001. The group’s name is an acronym that was exclusively based on the first letter of each member’s family name until the departure of Jin Akanishi in 2010. As of 2010, KAT-TUN stands for Kazuya KAmenashi, Junnosuke T aguchi, Koki Tanaka, Tatsuya Ueda and Yuichi Nakamaru. Their debut on March 22, 2006 was marked by a tripartite release of a CD single, album and music DVD on their exclusive record label J-One Records. Since then, all of their single, album and music DVD releases have debuted at number one on the Oricon music and DVD charts.

Photobook
KAT-TUN’s first official photobook, entitled KAT-TUN 1st in New York (photographer Harumi Yoshimura) was published in December 2003 by Wani Books.

On August 31, 2009, KAT-TUN released their second official photobook entitled KAT-TUN Live Document Photobook: Break the Records, which documents their rehearsals, behind-the-scenes photos and concert photos; it also includes exclusive interviews with the members.
